I love photographing weddings— being present to document one of the most important days of a couple's life is an amazing opportunity. Every wedding experience is unique and I find myself constantly touched by each and every one of my couples. It is through these experiences that I love being a wedding photographer.

I keep it natural and unobtrusive. Using mostly available light, I choose to document real emotions and moments as they unfold, rather than contrive them unnaturally. Many of my couples hardly know I'm present at their wedding and are amazed by how much I actually capture—by fading into the background I'm able to observe and anticipate the candid, unrehearsed moments.

In May 2012, I received the prestigious honor of having one of my photographs selected as a PDN Top Knots Winner. My work regularly appears in Brides Magazine and has been featured in Real Simple Weddings, Inside Weddings, and The Knot. I also had the privilege of having one of my weddings selected as Style Me Pretty's Favorite Wedding of 2009. My work can be seen on Style Me Pretty, Snippet & Ink, and TheKnot.com. While I am honored to be featured in print and online publications, it is more rewarding to receive ecstatic praise from my couples, their friends and family.

Carrie is based in Jackson Hole and Scottsdale and often travels for destination weddings.
